Hi Paul,
Semir here, I work on the Content Moderation Team at Skillshare.
I’m writing to let you know that the class you’ve recently published to Skillshare, “Wifi Ethical Hacking Using Evil Twin Attacks with Airgeddon” does not adhere to our Class Guidelines - http://skl.sh/1GHoHIP.
Skillshare does not permit classes about ethical hacking, as this topic contains sensitive material that may be misused.
We’ve hidden your class on the site and closed it to students. To see your class reopened, please update it to adhere to all of our guidelines and email us back to let us know that your class has been updated. I'd be happy to re-review your course to see if it meets our guidelines.
In addition, please note that we have a three-strike policy for violations of our Class Guidelines, so I encourage you to review the Guidelines carefully before publishing any further content.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as our team works to ensure a high-quality experience for our community.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns - I’m here to help!
Best,Semir
My reply:
Where does it say on your Class Guidelines that Ethical Hacking is not permitted:
http://skl.sh/1GHoHIP
It is very unfair to count this as a strike - when the guidelines did not specifically prohibit it.You should have just kindly asked me to remove the content without counting it as a strike.
Could you please remove this strike?
It has never been my intention to violate your policies - as I was led to believe Ethical Hacking is
widely allowed - as it is allowed on Udemy - and even internationally certified by various security
certification bodies.
Thanks,
Paul
I have also promptly removed the FB promo posting.
After 8 days, I got a reply:
Hey Paul,
Thanks for reaching out to me and for your explanation. I have removed your strike.
Best,Semir
